Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Service technicians complete routine vehicle maintenance, as-needed repairs, inspections, and diagnoses.
- Accept work orders and drive customers’ vehicles to the service area.
- Perform services according to Hyundai standards within the allotted timeline.
- Communicate with advisors regarding service completion and delays.
- Perform inspections/diagnoses and formulate repair service recommendations.
- Review historic and document current service data in the computerized record retention system.
- Perform quality assurance checks.
- Perform vehicle drive testing to verify results.
